CreatorFramework is operated by TheMarketBug LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). We are the data controller responsible for your personal information when you use our Service. If you have questions about this policy, contact us at support@themarketbug.com.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information:

• • Account information: Email address and password (hashed) when you create an account.
• • Video files: Videos you upload for analysis. Files are stored temporarily during processing only — they are automatically deleted after analysis completes.
• • Generated content: Analysis reports, pattern data, and scripts generated from your uploaded videos.
• • Usage data: Analysis history, upload timestamps, feature usage, and quota tracking.
• • Billing information: Payment processing is handled by our payment processor. We store your customer ID but do not see or store your credit card details.
• • Marketplace data: Creator datasets you choose to share publicly, and any ratings or reviews you post.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use collected information solely to:

• • Provide, maintain, and improve the creator intelligence service
• • Process payments and manage subscriptions
• • Enforce usage quotas and prevent abuse
• • Communicate about your account or service changes
• • Comply with legal obligations

We do not use your personal information or video content for advertising purposes. We do not sell your data.

4. Data Processing

Video analysis is performed using a combination of our infrastructure and select third-party AI processing services. To generate your analysis, your uploaded content may be transmitted to third-party AI providers for the following purposes:

• • Audio transcription — converting the video's audio track into text
• • Visual scene analysis — examining video frames for editing patterns, structure, and visual cues
• • Text synthesis — generating the structured analysis, patterns, and scripts you receive

These providers process your data solely to produce your analysis, on our instructions and in accordance with their respective terms of service. All transmissions to these providers use encrypted connections. We do not use your video content to train AI models, and each analysis is generated fresh and is not retained by us beyond what is described in this policy. The retention and handling practices of the third-party providers themselves are governed by their published privacy policies.

We do not publicly disclose the specific providers we use. A current list of our AI subprocessors is available upon verified request to support@themarketbug.com.

5. Data Storage and Retention

We follow a strict data minimization approach for video content:

• • Video files are retained only during active processing and are permanently deleted from our servers immediately after analysis completes
• • Unanalyzed uploads — if a video is uploaded but analysis is not started, or if analysis fails, the source file is automatically deleted within 24 hours of upload
• • Transcripts (word-for-word text) are deleted after analysis completes — only derivative structured data is retained
• • Analysis results, patterns, and thumbnails are retained until you delete them or close your account

We do not retain copies of your source video content after processing. The derivative analysis data we retain consists of factual observations, structural patterns, and generated insights — not reproductions of the original content.

You can delete your analysis data at any time through the Service. Upon account deletion, all associated data — including uploaded files, generated reports, and marketplace contributions — is permanently removed within 30 days.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information or video content with third parties for their own purposes, except:

• • Payment processor — for processing payments, subject to their own privacy policy
• • Marketplace — creator datasets you voluntarily publish to the marketplace are visible to other users
• • When required by law, legal process, or to protect the safety of our users or the public

7. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including:

• • Passwords are hashed using bcrypt and never stored in plaintext
• • Authentication tokens are transmitted in httpOnly cookies to prevent cross-site scripting attacks
• • All data access is scoped to your account — other users cannot see your data
• • Database connections use appropriate access controls and encryption
• • Video, audio, and text data is transmitted to our third-party AI processing providers (see Section 4) over encrypted connections, solely for the purpose of generating your analysis

While we take reasonable measures to protect your data, no system is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Data Breach Notification

In the event of a data breach that affects your personal information, we will notify affected users via email within 72 hours of becoming aware of the breach. Our notification will describe the nature of the breach, the data affected, and the steps we are taking to address it.

9. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

• • Access your personal data and analysis history
• • Delete your videos, analyses, and account at any time
• • Export your data in machine-readable formats (PDF, Markdown, JSON)
• • Correct inaccurate personal information
• • Opt out of non-essential communications
• • Request information about how your data has been processed

10. California Privacy Rights (CCPA)

If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to know what personal information we collect, the right to request deletion, and the right to opt out of the sale of personal information. 11. Cookies

We use a single httpOnly cookie to maintain your authenticated session. This cookie contains a session token and expires after 7 days. We do not use tracking cookies, analytics cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party cookies of any kind.

12. Children's Privacy

The Service is not intended for children under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If we become aware that a child under 18 has provided us with personal information, we will take steps to delete that information promptly.

13. Third-Party Links

The Service may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party services you access through or in connection with our Service.
